The Yngling Worlds 2017 will be held in Sneek, one of the most sailing-minded places in the Netherlands. Sailing club 'Koninklijke Watersportvereniging Sneek' (KWS) is hosting the event. Most of the activities will take place at the 'starting island' (official name: Kolmeersland), there is a little ferry that crosses the 'Prinses Margrietkanaal'. To get to the ferry use the address 'Kolmarslân 1, Offingawier the Netherlands' or follow coming from direction Sneek the signs 'Sneekermeer'. |

The old town of Sneek is a great place to stay during the Worlds, but maybe even better is to stay close to the starting-island from where the racing is held. To give you an idea of the possibilities where to stay, here is an overview with options in different price categories.
Be aware: during summer holidays, Friesland and especially Sneek are very popular places among tourists, so please don’t wait too long to make your reservation!
